My father was born and brought up in Kolhapur. He completed his education in Kolhapur. For service purpose he shifted to Mumbai. He rendered his services for Tata Institute of Fundamental Research ( T.I.F.R.) Navy Nagar, Colaba. He was designated as Chief Accounts Officer (Grade I). He retired in September 1998 after completing 36 years of service. His major achievement was, he got 3 promotions in a row in a single year, and was honored by BARC for his achievements.
He had opportunity of working with great scientists Dr. Homi Bhabha, Dr. Yashpal, Dr. Jayant Narlikar, etc. on various projects. He has earned name recognition in T.I.F.R., BARC, & other affiliated institutions.
As per my father's wish, we have donated his body to G.S. Medical College. This process, though at midnight, was carried smooth because of Aptekaka. Aptekaka provided us every possible assistance.
We sincerely request to all, please come forward for body donation. We owe a lot to our society at large.
