Aptekaka alias Mr. Shrikant Murlidhar Apte, BSc, LLB, CAIIB, Advocate, High Court, Mumbai, age 68, is keenly interested in working for ‘Promotion of Public Awareness regarding Organ Donation’. This NGO is setup by him.

He has attended “Transplant Co-Ordinator Training Programs” at Mumbai which were organized by ZTCC Mumbai & ROTTO / SOTTO, Authorities setup by the State & Central Govt. to regulate cadaveric Organ Donations.

From past 5 years he has selected “Promotion of Public Awareness regarding Body, Skin, Eye & Organ Donation as Life Mission”, for which he literally works 24 X 7.

He possesses experience of conducting over 100 awareness programs at Schools, Colleges, Mumbai University, Bangalore University, Hospitals, Nursing Institutions, Churches, Temples, International Clubs like Rotary Club, Lions Club, Giants Club, public places like Gardens, Railway Stations etc.

Aptekaka is appointed by the Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra as Hon. Member of Maharashtra State Level Authorization Committee, set up under the Transplantation of Human Organs Act. He has been appointed as honorary member of NSS Advisory Committee, Bangalore University by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Bangalore University. He is Hon. Advisor of Maharashtra Mandal, Bengaluru, an association which is celebrating centenary
